The Snugpak Stratosphere Bivvi Tent is an ultra compact one person shelter; smaller than a standard tent it also comes with its own compression sack for packable performance. Ideal for outdoor lifestyle adventures that take you away from the comforts of your own home this premium quality tent is olive in colour which provides good camouflage with your environment; perfect for wild camping, whilst the roll away mosquito net and meshed ventilation provide comfort in more humid and warm climates. The Snugpak Stratosphere Bivvi Tent features a full length side zip and boasts a 50d Nylon ripstop outer shell with a 70D Nylon Taffeta PU coated bottom allowing it to stand up to severe weather. The seams are waterproof and taped, and it comes complete with ultralight alloy pegs which are durable whilst still packable.
Lightweight products feature lightweight materials and constructions to reduce the user’s load and aid mobility. Lightweight clothing products are thin and provide very little or no cushioning and insulation. They are best used for high-intensity or warm-weather pursuits, or employed as part of a layering system.
Constructed from Aluminium, a lightweight yet strong metal, which has the added benefit of resisting corrosion.
Rip Stop is a lightweight nylon fabric with interwoven rip-stop reinforcement threads in a cross hatch pattern. It's woven with a coarse, strong warp and filling yarns at intervals so that tears will not spread. Rip-stop is used in construction of hot air balloons and yacht sails but in this case very effectively on outdoor clothing.
