Have only put this up indoors so far to make sure it was ok after delivery, so I can't really comment on the performance first hand, although I did watch video reviews on youtube which suggest it will be great even in heavy snow. First time I put it up took about 13 mins (no ropes or pegs obviously), colour coded poles made it easy to set up. Construction seems very sturdy, I don't think it would have any trouble in reasonably high winds once roped and pegged. Internally there is a loop at the head end to hang a torch/watch, and mesh pockets all down both sides which is a very nice touch. Also there is a pocket to store the inner door to stop it getting trampled on as you get in and out. It was fairly easy to pack up on my own, though it wasn't very windy indoors at the time. No problem getting it back into the bag, I've had tents that come in a small pack to make you think it is a compact design, but it takes a team of NASA engineers to fold it back into the bag, not the case here at all, probably room in that bag for an extra ground sheet. I plan on taking my dog camping, so my only concern is whether the floor is thick enough to be dog claw proof (it's by no means thin though), time will tell. Size wise, I'm not a tall person so I have no trouble. If you are more than maybe 5'7 you might want to mark the floor plan out on the floor and make sure you fit inside comfortably. Width wise, I'd say it's for couples/'just good friends', or 1 person + gear + maybe a dog. But this is probably the case for most 2 man tents. From what I can tell, you have to pay 2 or 3 times this price to get much better quality, so in terms of value for money it's great, 5/5. Quality and Performance ratings I'm giving a TENTative (hehe) 4/5, because there probably are better 2 man tents out there if money were no object. Note sure if I can revise these ratings after I have used it. All in all, I'm very happy with it so far and have no regrets. Would buy this item again and would rate other Snugpak products highly.
