The idea behind Sea to Summit was born when Tim Macartney Snape asked his friend and outdoor equipment designer Roland Tyson to make him some lightweight gear for his epic expedition to climb the full 8,848 metres of Everest, from sea level on the Bay of Bengal, to the summit. Upon Tim's successful completion of the expedition he and Roland established the aptly named Sea to Summit, utilising their outdoor expertise to make lightweight, innovative and affordable outdoor gear for other enthusiasts around the world. Today Sea to Summit is still under the same management and has grown to employ over 50 employees. This has not compromised their original however, as they continue to research and develop the latest materials and designs to serve outdoor fanatics across 35 countries worldwide. At Webtogs we are proud to stock their innovative Sea To Summit Camping Gear like their Thermal Liners, Drybags, Trek Towels, Travel Mugs and so much more.
