SALEWA, which stands for Saddler and Leather Wares, and known for their expertise in premium quality outdoor gear, started back in 1935 as a sister company to Munich’s Co-operative for Saddlers and Tapestry Handlers, by manufacturing photo and tanks bags, backpacks and soccer balls.
