They are best used for high-intensity or warm-weather pursuits, or employed as part of a layering system. Lightweight
DriLite is a waterproof, breathable and durable fabric technology by Mountain Equipment. Thanks to its incredibly fine, monolithic PU membrane, breathability figures exceed 20.000 g/24h, with an impressive 20,000 mm hydrostatic head. Excellent cap, great looking, comfortable and 100% waterproof. Great purchase

Excellent item. I have lots of caps but am now only wearing this one. The big plus is the Drylite material: I'm not a big fan of hoods when it rains but soaked caps were not a great experience either in my rainy New Zealand trips. A waterproof but breathable cap makes quite a difference in keeping your skull dry. The cap is also (very) lightweight, looks really good and the fit is very comfortable. I wear it in the mountains, in downpours, when running, playing tennis...What's more they cost the same as an average cap!
